My second player in my continuing series of hockey players that I love isssssssssss
JASON SPEZZA!
Im in an extremely happy mood since its the Friday before a long weekend and I get to leave at 2 and I have awesome plans for tonight and so Jason Spezza became choice two for these reasons. The reason I love Jason Spezza is his smile! He is so so smiley and it makes me smile. And then his passing/playmaking ability makes me swoon and fall to my knees. Spezza has a really soft pass but has a great hard shot to the net and is an extremely unselfish player out there. Working with Heatley and Alfie, he realyl has no choice; those players are more talented than he is. But, he has an amazing eye and the ability to make sure those passes go through. During the Stanely Cup Finals, he, more than anyone else out there, was the person to defend. If he had the puck, you know the puck was going to be moving around and to all the right people. The only criticsm I have for Spetz is that he is not very good defensively. Um, not at all really. He tends to just focus on the play in the offensive zone and doesnt even think to hold back for a bit and take care of people behind him, allowing for smarter defenseman to go to the front of the net as an extra defender. And THAT BLOWS JASON. Dont freaking do that! If you want to be a complete player, learn your fundamentals. That being said, I heart you Jason Spezza. You make me smile because you are so smiley. And an amazing hockey player. Few more years, ya got Alfie beat.
