So, as per usual when life the turns the tides, I have decided to give this blog a go again. I think I might actually keep this one up because: A. We all need a hobby B. I love hockey C. I love writing and D. Because. So, in terms of hockey news, the Rangers and Bruins are playing nah nee nah nee poo poo in the mirror with each other because both teams had abominable games 1 and 2 and squeaked by with a win in game 3.
Brandon Dubinsky (and that SUPER SWEET PORN STACHE) scored the game winning goal in game 3 but in all honesty, the goal was a few lucky bounces (granted an amazing split of the d)with plain old bad positioning by the Capitals. I want to keep the faith, for myself and Ranger's fans alike, that the Capitals will have another epic meltdown, propelling us into Round 2. I think that even if it happens, we could be horribly embarrassed in Round two. I have been watching some of the other series, and while I have complete faith we'd wipe the floor with Philadelphia, in all honesty the Rangers are in their developing year more so than they have ever been. The inexperience coupled with the fact that Henrik is bound to get tired someday is likely a delicious recipe for not winning. Although, I will say Ryan McDonagh (he has legit acne -- its adorbz. And yes i know that is no direct correlation for how well he plays hockey) is slowly becoming my favorite Blueshirt and between him and Mike Sauer and Derek Stepan, the future for the Rangers is looking rather promising. If Sather can actually pull off finding some real and consistent offensive talent, we will be a force to be reckoned with. Hopefully not like the Bruins are with the force during the regular season and then nothing by the post season, but I'll take a few good months any day :).
Okay, I have to hire some people as my lunch break is beyond over but I may just actually keep up with this thing!
